Uff… how can I start this post? For those who share an amazing time in Stafford like me, this can be shocking.

I’ve received this pictures from @JL_pickard, who obtained them from Mr. Coloma. The three of us were students from Mondragon Unibertsitatea but we’ve been there at different times. Anyhow all of us have enjoyed the Props and Reynolds bars (as well as Staffs University of course). Both bars were part of the otherwise scarce Stafford’s night life. But see what they have become now! A Chinese and an Indian!! I love Indian food but not at any cost, and sacrificing the Reynolds and Props is too much to pay for a tikka masala or some nasty spring rolls. By the way, I’ve been told that before Reynolds turned into an Indian Restaurant it was, for a short while, a Gentleman’s Club i.e. a Strip Bar.

What’s going on here? Are we crazy? For God’s sake!!! Some of us have learnt more English here than at the uni!!! Where are future generations going to learn about important concepts like “grab a granny”? What about the Sainsbury’s shopping cart races at 3 in the morning?

Some things never change though. Kebab kingdom will live forever!!! The Atlas kebab remains the same. Even Corporation Street houses have change and they look better now. As far as I know, the guy in the gardening center bought the houses.

Anyway, these pictures brought back so many good memories… Merry Xmas everybody!
